From N. Roosevelt head towards Old Town Key West. When you reach the Shell gas station turn right onto Palm Ave. and proceed over the Palm Ave. Bridge.

This will curve around to the left and become Eaton St.  At the first light after the curve, turn left on to Grinnell St.

Take Grinnell St. to the first light and turn right on to Southard St.  (NOTE: This is a one way street.) 

Take Southard St. all the way down to Truman Annex. Go through the guard booth at Truman Annex. On the far side of Truman Annex you will see a sign on your left that says, "Fort Taylor to the left".

Follow this around the curve and you will encounter a second guard shack. This is the guard post for Fort Taylor. Proceed through this on to the parking lot.

From there walk down the path and into Fort Taylor.
