The Haunting of Fort Taylor

 

Every year the Haunting of Fort Taylor grows and expands in bold new directions in its efforts to raise money for the benefit of The Friends of Fort Taylor, Inc. We think fund raising should be fun and exciting. For those of you who have been to the Haunted Fort in the past, you don’t want to miss this year! We dive deeper into the spooky past of the island of bones to bring you the unbelievable true past of our historic island. This is the seventh annual Haunted Fort and it takes place October 23^rd through the 30^st.

 

This year we are presenting an exciting opportunity for school clubs to get involved in ticket sales. If a club is interested in selling tickets, the Haunted Fort would like to see to it that they make money for their organization as well. We are prepared to offer our tickets at a reduced rate of $2.00 per ticket. (Normally: $13.00 – Adults & $8.00 – Children 10 & under) (Your price $11.00 – Adult & $6.00 Children 10 & under) Your school organization can buy blocks of tickets and sell them for our regular ticket price, making your organization 2.00 / ticket for the effort in supporting the haunting of Fort Taylor.

 

If you would like to get involved we can provide you with as many tickets as you desire. We will offer a $25.00 cash prize for the child that sells the most in your organization. Advance ticket sales will run from September 15th to October 17^th.

 

We appreciate your help with our efforts to raise money for Fort Taylor which is a national historic landmark. Through fund raisers like The Haunting of Fort Taylor we are making a difference in building and artifact restoration as well as educational programs at Fort Taylor. We have a long way to go, but we are planning to make it a fun adventure as we strive for our goals! The Friends of Fort Taylor, Inc. is a 503 (c) non-profit organization. We also have volunteer needs in assembling and staffing the event. Students can receive community service hour credits from the Friends.
